This was a really fun costume to work on mainly because of all the jewelry I had to make. All the amethyst stones I resin casted. The arm bands and the crown I made using craft foam. I sealed the foam using 1:1 sobo & fabric glue and then backed with a thin cotton. Using t-shirt puff paint and hand drew the design onto each piece then I used silver rub and buff to create the metal look and aged it using black craft paint. The ear rings, ring, necklace and headpiece jewels were made using resin casted jewels backed with mirror board and craft foam. The dangles were made using light blue austrian crystals and plastic beads. The dress was made out of white knit. I hand drafted the pattern to resemble a grecian dress and then embelished it using decrative edging and resin casted jewels. For the wings I used floral craft wire and bent it into the desired shape. I then wraped it with white floral tape. Using irredescent cellophane and a hot iron I melted the layers over the frame. I added the veins using gliter hot glue. I sealed the last layer using thin clear vinyl.
