Info:

The was a custom design by Saya. I envisioned a go-go style dress covered with glittery maple leaves. I custom created the pattern for the dress, leg warmers and arm warmers. It was made of sturdy white satin material. The maple leave applica`s were made of purple lame. The color of Gusty’s hair wasn’t available in store so I ordered white wigs from Amphigory and custom dyed both using the FW ink method. It took multiple attempts to get the correct color but in the end it worked out nicely. The red streak in gusty’s main was done using clip in extensions.

For gusty’s tail: One of the above dyed wigs was cut from the wig in a long pony tail and stubbed using caulk. I decided on making a “harness” for the tail so that it would stay up properly(Thank you Hikaruhime for your input with this). Using an old clipboard and a jigsaw I cut a square out of the clipboard approximately 4x6 inches. I smoothed the corners with a dremmel tool and added to slits in the middle. I then took a 4x2 peace of PVC pipe and painted it green. When dry I glued it do the board using Gorilla glue. Once it was set I gorilla glued the stubbed tail down into the pipe/board. I ran a belt thru the two slits of the board. I cut a hole the dress and ran the tail and pipe thru the hole. The harness is worn under the dress. I then created a bow for the tail and hot glued it into place.

I created the ears and horn using white sculpey and glazed it after cooking. I sewed the horn directly into the wig and attached the horn to a headband I had painted red. I decorated the headband with some clear and red beads as well. Hardest part was the tail. Funnest part was making the ears and horn.
