I bought this costume online after a friend asked me to cosplay a D Gray Man character with her. When I received it, the whole thing fit wonky so I had to take it in a few places. In the manga, Lenalee only wears this version for a few chapters and then her hair is burnt off to a short pixie cut. I prefer her pig tails and the new oufit, so I decided to cosplay the seldom seen version. The belt is super handy because it includes two zipper pouches that I can fit a small camera, money and a cell phone. No need to carry a purse to a Con! At first I wasn't sure if it would arrive on time so I didn't bother making the boots (as you can see in the hastily rigged thigh high tights and converse boots picture). Later on, I borrowed my Jesse boots to complete the outfit.
